Ground Blessing Held for Interlude Restorative Suites

On Thursday, December 12, 2013, Father Tim Dolan presided over the ground blessing for the new Interlude Restorative Suites. In attendance was the Mayor of Fridley Scott Lund, CEO of Benedictine Health System Dale Thompson, President of the Allina Unity Hospital Helen Strike, and the head of the North Suburban Hospital District Gerald Maeckelbergh, among others.

The Interlude building will be owned and managed by the Benedictine Health System, with Allina Health as it’s partner. This 50 bed Transitional Care Unit will be located at the south side of the Allina Unity Hospital Campus in Fridley, MN. Yanik is serving as the Owner’s Representative and Construction Manager for the Benedictines. Construction start is scheduled to occur at the end of December with an opening to be November 2014.
