Project Size: 28,626 Square Feet

Project Timeline: 1996-1998

Services: Design/Build

Location: New Prague, MN

Yanik assisted Mayo Clinic Health System – New Prague ( formerly Queen of Peace Hospital) with complete project development for their ambulatory services addition, and provided design/build services with a guaranteed maximum price for the project.  The components of this project included:  specialty clinic suites for visiting physicians, ambulatory surgery, emergency department, diagnostic imaging department, pharmacy, and cardiac rehabilitation.

All of the services provided, from assessment of existing facility to development of a facilities plan combining a blend of renovation and new construction, and ultimately the delivery of the facility itself, were prepared with a firm budget in mind.  The primary directive from the owner in the development process was to utilize as much of the existing facility as possible, while enhancing the hospital’s suite of services to meet present and future needs. The process required constraint and sensitivity to the community of this land locked community hospital.
